Kreuzlingen is a political municipality and the capital of the district of the same name in the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland. With around 21,500 inhabitants, Kreuzlingen is the second largest city in the canton. With 54.0 percent foreigners, Kreuzlingen is one of the Swiss cities with a high proportion of foreigners, along with Geneva (48 percent), Pregny-Chambésy (52 percent) and Leysin (62 percent). Together with the neighboring German city of Konstanz, the border town forms an agglomeration of around 120,000 inhabitants. Kreuzlingen is the largest Swiss city on Lake Constance.
