Company description and purpose of company URNE

A unique urn studio with an exhibition room in the middle of Zurich and Basel and since its foundation in 1998 has offered over 100 individually designed, classic and modern urns. "cosmicball" Thomas Schär, artist, designer, founder and owner of the company, designs and creates every urn from scratch. The handmade urns are given an identity, a name and a story of their own. At the moment of parting, the urn leaves a last, unforgettable impression of the deceased person. For this reason we create this unique, handcrafted urn collection, which can also give comfort. In addition to a traditional placement of the urn in the cemetery, in an urn grave or an urn niche wall, you can also place the urn in the living area or outside and in this way keep your loved one in memory and thoughts in a dignified and special way. With our small souvenir objects and jewelry pendants, you can also keep a little ashes as a souvenir or set up a simple memorial page in the starry sky on Place of Memory. If you want to scatter the ashes in a special place later, the urn can be left as a souvenir. Customers with their special wishes are our top priority. We would be happy to advise you in the studio in the middle of our diverse urn collection. You can also order an urn from our premium collection via the funeral home of your community, the undertaker, or directly and easily in personal contact with us.
