Romairon is located at 807 meters above sea level, 7 kilometers north of the district capital Yverdon-les-Bains. Bains (as the crow flies). The farming village extends in a clearing island on Jurasuedhang, in a panoramic position almost 400 m above the lake level Lake Neuchatel.

The area of the 4.9 km large municipal area covers a narrow section on the Jurasu slope and on the Chasseron chain.
