Basically, our members only have one thing in common: they are gay and drive (actively) motorcycles. Otherwise we differ in many ways: we have a wide variety of professions (from craftsmen to computer scientists to doctorates), are of different ages (from 25 to around 60) and come from almost all of Switzerland (from Basel to Graubünden) and southern Germany . The “gay community” almost exclusively equates motorcyclists with leather men. With us, however, almost everything is represented: Textile, leather, GoreTex, plastic. We are a loose association of gay motorbike drivers, not an association under Article 60 ff. ZGB. But as a club we are a member of the Gay and Lesbian Motorcyclists in Europe and Pink Cross. The requirements for a member are modest: - gay (openly or discreetly) or gay-friendly, - active motorbike driver, - mastery of the motorcycle, - fluent driving style in compliance with the road traffic regulations, - willingness to integrate into a group, - inclusion in the ( confidential) address list of the gay bikers, - 50 francs membership fee per year.
