The Paulus Choir is the church and concert choir of the Reformed parish Paulus in Zurich-Unterstrass. Founded in the mid-thirties of the last century as the “Church Choir Unterstrass”, we have been performing as the Paulus Choir since 2004. We play a musical role in several church services each year and each September we perform a major work of sacred choral literature. The Paulus Choir consists of around 60 ambitious singers of all ages and professions who share the joy of making music together. We always strive to move to the highest possible musical level and to deal intensively with our works. That is why we work with a professional choir director, a voice trainer and, in the rehearsal phases before the concert, with a répétiteur. We organize our concerts with well-known soloists and professional orchestras.
