My interest in music was nurtured from early childhood. I played my way to the top of numerous music competitions. Since 1988 I have had the chance to be taught by Mr. Gérard Fahr, a highly qualified teacher for theory, composition and the accordion. This marked the beginning of my music studies at the "Swiss Music Pedagogical Association" (SMPV). During my studies, which I successfully completed with a teaching diploma in 1998, I achieved 1st place in the category of art level teacher at the "Coupe suisse de l'accordeon" and thus became Swiss champion. In 1999 I founded the Michael Wüest Music School, with the aim of sharing my knowledge and experience with students, whether young or old.
